Using this site

Urdu Calendar is a free reference tool for Hijri dates, prayer times, and Urdu poetry. You're welcome to use it for personal, non-commercial reference. Please don't scrape, republish, or redistribute the site's content at scale without permission.

Accuracy of dates and times

Hijri dates are calculated using the tabular Islamic calendar, a mathematical estimate rather than moon-sighting confirmation. Prayer times are computed from standard astronomical formulas. Both can differ slightly from your local mosque or Islamic authority. For religious observance, always defer to your local moon-sighting committee or mosque.

Poetry content

Couplets featured in "Sher of the Day" are drawn from classical Urdu poets whose work is in the public domain. Transliterations and translations are provided for accessibility and are our own editorial rendering.

No warranty

This site is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We work to keep dates, times, and content accurate but don't guarantee the site will be error-free or uninterrupted.
