Urdu Calendar is an independent, privately built reference tool. It isn't affiliated with any mosque, Islamic organization, scholar, or government body, and nothing here should be treated as a religious ruling (fatwa).

Hijri dates are estimates

Dates use the tabular Islamic calendar, a fixed mathematical calculation, which differs from moon sighting (ru'yah) used by many communities to confirm the start of a new month, especially for Ramadan and Eid. The date shown here can be a day off from your local mosque's announcement. For religious observance, always follow your local authority.

Prayer times are calculated, not confirmed

Prayer times use standard astronomical formulas for your location. Conventions vary by school of thought and region — if your mosque publishes its own schedule, treat that as the primary reference.

Poetry attribution

Couplets are drawn from classical, public-domain Urdu poets. Translations and transliterations are our own editorial rendering and, like any translation, cannot fully capture the original's nuance.
